My own unique playlist artworks to bring my music to life

Inspired by Rien’s wonderful blog post, Spotify Playlist Covers, I decided to dive into creating my own unique playlist artworks. Rien’s approach to curating visually stunning and meaningful playlist covers truly resonated with me, and I wanted to explore how I could add my personal touch to this creative process.

Crafting my own Spotify playlist covers has been an exciting and fulfilling creative journey. I started by reflecting on what my playlists represent—moods, memories, or specific vibes—and aimed to bring them to life visually. Here’s a peek into my process:

1. Mood Matching:
   Each playlist cover represents the emotion or theme of the music it holds. Whether it’s a soothing “Rainy Day” playlist or an energizing “Workout Beats” mix, I focused on translating sound into visuals.

2. Design Tools:
   I experimented with tools like Photoshop and Procreate to create covers that felt uniquely mine. For more abstract playlists, I leaned on bold colors and shapes; for others, I used photography or illustrations found on Pinterest or Unsplash.

3. A Personal Touch:
   To make the covers even more meaningful, I incorporated snippets of my favorite lyrics or quotes that embody the playlist’s spirit.
